GUIDE YOUR STUDENTS WITH WEBQUEST!

 Hi guys!  It's me again. Hope you guys well and healthy. In this post I am going to talk about new term which is "WebQuest". WebQuests are prepared in order students to be encouraged to use information directly in place of collecting it. This tool is technology-based and it can enhance learners' critical thinking skills. On the other hand, it is a classroom-based material. Thanks to WebQuests, collaborative activities and cooperative learning can be supplied.     Let's talk about the structure of a WebQuest. It has 4 different parts. These are; introduction, task, process, evaluation and conclusion. As it is divided into 4 essential points, the students who will benefit from it won't get confused to follow instructions.   In the introduction phase, the point of the WebQuest is explained to the learner. Augmented Reality is a tool which includes technology to a large extent. With this tool, we can visualize  picture, 3D models and animations in a 3D environment. As teachers, we can use augmented reality videos or picture not only to teach English, but also create an environment that is entertaining for our students.  In education, Augmented Reality (AR) is a material that is benefited by the educators all around the world. By means of AR, teachers can make lessons more interactive and students can understan the topics easily. This technology is not only useful for teachers, but also for students. AR projects help students to enhance their critical thinking skills as well. Collaboration, creating and problem-solving type of skills can be improved through this material. TEACH AND ENTERTAIN WITH FLIPPED GRAMMAR VIDEOS!

Hi guys!   It's me again. Hope you all well. Today I want to talk about "Flipped Grammar Videos". Through flipped classroom technique, unlike traditional classes, teacher lectures with a video. This helps students to enjoy while learning the topic. They can watch it at interact with it.   These type of activites are very useful for language classess. Students can work in groups and this provides them interactive and communactive learning environment. As there is no particular instruction, learners are given freedom to use their grammatical abilities. Lastly, learners can enhance their critical thinking skills as well.  Me and my partner Melisa, have created our "Flipped Grammar Video". We have created our video for 9th grade high school students. UNIQUE WAY TO TEACH VOCABULARY!

 Hi guys!  It's me again. Hope you all well and healthy. I am here to tell you a new term about teaching vocabulary. This is called flipped vocabulary teaching videos.  Flipped classroom means interactive learning place for students. We engage learners into the classroom through creative and enjoyable activities.Flipped vocabulary videos are advantageous in some ways. Engaging young learners into the classroom, teaching the vocabulary easily and creating an environment that is convenient for young learners is some of the advantages of these videos. On the other hand, lacking of discipline or some technological issues may cause negative consequences.   Me and my classmate Melisa have created a flipped vocabulary video for 6th grade students.Our video is about the topic which is "Weathers&Emotions". FIRST ATTEMPT TO CREATE A MATERIAL

Hi guys!  I hope you all healthy and safe. Today I will talk about corpus and language awareness tasks.   Firstly, let's discuss the term "corpus". Corpus is a compilation  of written texts on a specific subject. Corpus is a convenient tool for creating materials and also for language awareness tasks.  Furthermore, I have created a language awareness task in line with the term "corpus". Language awareness can be stated as how we use words in our learning materials.  Me and my friend Melisa, have created worksheets for our students. Our aim is to compose language awareness.    First of all, we have prepared an analysis part. We didn't clearly stated what are the rules etc. We simply gave the words "talk" and "say". This is because, we want our students discover the rules on their own. That's exactly what a language awareness is.  Hello, I'm back! Hi guys, I hope you all well and healthy. Actually, it has been a while since I haven't written on my blog. However, I have noticed that writing on my blog has helped me a lot in my academic career. Because of that , I am here again to talk about new terms and discoveries in line with my course "Material Design in ELT". I want to continue improve myself in technology usage in ELT classroom.
